Bipolar disorder resources

Great links to wide variety of bipolar disorder resources - just scroll through.

(Please note this list changes frequently and, although we do our best to monitor for site quality and broken links, we cannot vouch for unrelated sites.)

We also maintain a page of annotated links to the VERY BEST bipolar resources. These "top tier" links to bipolar disorder resources contain full descriptions and are subject to constant monitoring.

However, what lies beneath is a lot of fascinating and useful sites. Our goal for this page was quantity and variety of links - you will be sure to find somewhere you have never visited before, and places to help and inspire.

So let's get going . . .

1. Child & Adolescent Bipolar Foundation Resources for pediatric bipolar disorder and network of support groups including parents and experts.

2. BiPolar Significant Others Public Pages Maintained by and for members of the mailing list.

3. NIMH - Bipolar Disorder Booklet that answers many common questions about bipolar disorder.

4. Harvard Bipolar Research Program Offers information about living with bipolar disorder, including a treatment contract, mood chart, and other tools for patients and clinicians.

5. Bipolar Genetics Collaboration Information and current research on the disorder.

6. Bipolar Help Center Includes mood disorder questionnaire, mood diary, and information about the differences between depression and bipolar disorder. From Eli Lilly and Company.

7. You Me and Apollo: Hope Beyond Bipolar Disorder, by JD Stottlemire. This site is an introduction to the book, "You Me and Apollo: Hope Beyond Bipolar Disorder." It includes the full text of chapter one. Written on a seventh grade reading level and taking less than an hour to read, "Apollo" talks frankly about mania, depression and even suicide without ever losing sight of its central themes; things do get better and "Today there is a great deal of hope."

9. Bipolar Clues
Quality resources, facts and tools about bipolar disorder and manic depression.
