Got a problem worker
by: Frank S.

I really like an epmployee but was considering letting him go. He had attendance problems and blew up at customer once in a while. At one point I thought he had a drinking problem. When he is good he is great, but I just cannot count on him to be great all the time. The article from J.F.O gave me food for thought and I plan on siting him down at a rational time to bring this up to him. I'm not a Doctor, but my neighbor told me a little about bipolar people, not as much as you have. I want this guy to be seen and get help, but I can't do it for him. Things cannot continue the way they are. THANKS, Frank S. CA

Finding Work
by: Carlos

I had been through six jobs in for years, forget about a recommendation I think I'm intellegent enough to hold a job, but what was holding me back. I thought I tried to listen to as many people that had an opinion. Opinions did not help. Getting real help and following instructions to the letter of my phsycologist, will I hope give me an opportuntiy to make a living for myself, before I go through me saving.
SSD recognizes Biplor Disorder as a disbility and this has keep me off the streets.

A very important issue
by: Sarah from Bipolar-Lives.com

Many people with bipolar disorder run into trouble in the workplace and end up in a downward personal and financial spiral. However, bipolar disorder may qualify you for the "safety net" of Social Security Disability payments. We have discussed this in detail at http://www.bipolar-lives.com/bipolar-disability.html and suggest anyone who cannot work due to bipolar disorder educate themselves on this important issue.
